This teriyaki sauce is super easy to make from ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. I love meal prepping it for dinners throughout the week. It's delicious with rice, noodles, vegetables, tofu, tempeh, chickpeas or any combination of them.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup low sodium tamari
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup maple syrup
6-8 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp cornstarch
Directions:
Combine the water and cornstarch in a small pot. Once the cornstarch is completely dissolved, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Heat on medium until it comes to a simmer, mixing occasionally. Once it comes to a simmer, remove from heat and allow to cool completely before transferring to an air tight container. Store in the fridge for 7-10 days.
